### If Slack is Not Connected

If you haven't connected Slack yet, follow these steps:

1. In Typo, go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Click **Connect** next to **Slack**.
3. Select your Slack workspace.
4. Click **Allow** to authorize the required permissions.

Once the authorization is complete, your Slack workspace will be connected to Typo, and you'll be able to use all Slack features, including **Ask AI**.

> **Note:** Connecting Slack and updating permissions must be done by a **Slack Workspace Admin**.

### Using Ask AI in Private Channels

To use **Ask AI** in a private Slack channel, make sure the **Typo** app has been added to that specific channel. Without adding the app, Ask AI won't be able to access or respond in private channels.
