# Does data automatically update when I add a new user or team?

Yes. Typo automatically detects any changes made to users or teams and triggers a background resync to include them in your metrics. Depending on your team size, it can take up to 2 hours for the updated data to reflect across the platform.

How to trigger a manual resync: If you need the data to update immediately, you can force a resync for a specific team:

* Navigate to Settings > Teams.
* Locate the team you want to update.
* Click the Refresh button in the Action column.
